Healthy, delicious whole food crackers can be hard to find. These meet my requirements for flavor AND nutrition. I hope you like them!

Quinoa Flax Crackers

 

Ingredients:

  • 1-1 1/2 cup water
  • 4 Tablespoons flax seed
  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1 tablespoon tamari
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

 

Directions:

  • Soak the flax and chia seeds in the water for 5 to 10 minutes while you are doing the next step, stirring every once in a while to break up any clumps.
  • Add the flax/chia gel to the food processor with the remaining ingredients and blend just until combined.
  • Spread onto a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
  • Score if desired.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
