Aloe vera is everyone’s go to ingredient for sunburns. It is soothing and healing, especially when cool. In this recipe we use pure aloe vera gel. Look for the purest you can find without any perfumes or additives. Lavender is also useful for skin irritations and burns. Plus it just smells AMAZING. Do we really need a reason to use it? Similarly with roses. Of course they smell wonderful, but they are remarkable for skin care too! They have been renowned for their use in beauty treatments for centuries. Roses serve as a tonic and astringent ingredient. They are anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and moisturizing. Witch hazel is well-known for its benefits in skin care due to its anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties. You can use rose-scented witch hazel for an extra boost of rose!

Caution: Never use essential oils on children/babies under 3 without doing your research. This spray is intended for adults and older children. For children older than 3 and even adults test a small patch of skin to test for sensitivities (with any essential oils) before using. Lavender is generally considered safe, but it’s wise to always test for any reactions.
